This week, BlackRook is back at Sibos – where, for the 11th consecutive year, we’re proud to be producing Sibos TV for Swift, bringing you the conversations, ideas and personalities from what’s considered to be the financial industry’s most important global gathering.
Our content is reaching audiences both inside and outside the Miami Beach Convention Center. Sibos 2026 is taking place in the city for the first time, from 28th September to 1st October, bringing together more than 10,000 participants from more than 160 countries. Across four packed days, more than 500 speakers are taking part in over 250 sessions, under this year’s hugely relevant theme: “Digital finance for AI-driven economies.”
For BlackRook, an event of this scale means operating as one large production team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. We have 16 producers and craft technicians working across two continents.
At the MBCC in Miami, our on-site crew is running the Sibos TV operation from the heart of the action, filming and live-streaming interviews from the studio floor and out and about across the conference. As ever, we’re aiming to capture the atmosphere of the exhibition and the team is producing content throughout each day – from before breakfast to late night.

At exactly the same time, back in our offices in Spitalfields, East London, a second BlackRook team is working in a time zone five hours ahead of Miami, getting across the footage, managing the edit, production and delivery operation that keeps the content flowing to the client’s chosen VOD platforms.
It’s a genuinely global workflow – Miami and London working as one, with the aim of turning conversations happening in real time at the event into polished, broadcast-ready content at speed.
Across this year’s Sibos, we’re producing more than 50 researched studio interviews, bringing together senior figures from across banking, payments, technology and the wider financial ecosystem. The ambition is not simply to document Sibos, but to make the event accessible as a living media experience – allowing delegates to follow the conversations they missed, while giving the wider global community a window into what is being discussed in Miami.
We’re capturing the ideas emerging from the dozens upon dozens of stage sessions – from cross-border payments and ISO 20022 to tokenisation, digital assets, resilience and cybersecurity. That’s hundreds of hours of content that gives our editorial and production teams a formidable amount of material to turn into useful, watchable content.
It’s work that began for us months ago in the research phase in early summer in Europe – with our producers talking to key figures from dozens of the world’s leading financial institutions.
And “Digital finance for AI-driven economies” runs through virtually every aspect of the programme, from the practical application of AI in payments and data to agentic AI, cybersecurity, operational resilience and the future of financial services. The important conversations aren’t simply about what AI can do, but about how the financial industry can deploy it responsibly – with the trust, standards, interoperability and resilience that global finance demands. That makes Sibos a particularly valuable place to capture the debate: this is where the people building the infrastructure of global finance come together to ask what comes next.
Sibos itself is the annual conference, exhibition and networking event organised by our client – Swift – the global member-owned cooperative that provides secure financial messaging and standards for the international financial community. Swift connects more than 11,500 institutions across more than 200 countries and territories, enabling them to communicate securely and exchange standardised financial messages. Sibos began life as a banking operations seminar in 1978 and has grown into the flagship global forum where the financial community comes together to debate, collaborate and shape the future of payments, securities, cash management and trade.
For BlackRook, being part of that story for an 11th year is something we’re incredibly proud of. Sibos demands the very best of live production: editorial preparation, research, interviewing, studio production, filming, live-streaming, editing and rapid turnaround – all working simultaneously and across time zones.
With those two BlackRook teams in Miami and London, we’re once again helping turn four intense days of global financial conversation into a rich, accessible and growing body of video content. Sibos TV is live from Miami – and it’s BlackRook behind the cameras.
