John Todd
Production Editor

John’s background, over 30 years as a journalist, is in broadcast news and current affairs. He’s an experienced News Editor with a significant track record in the UK and internationally. He is skilled in a range of factual content creation, TV and radio production, media relations and newsroom management roles too. He has also written for national newspapers and magazines.
At the heart of all that achievement is a meticulous approach to research and fact-checking.

John is an academic, a Geologist, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree focused on Soil Science from The University of Reading.

At BlackRook, he’s our Lead Researcher marshalling our team in pre-event content preparation for our ‘pop-up’ online television channels, for clients such as Swift and its international Sibos conferences and The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease – for The Union World Conference on Lung Health.

He liaises with our interview guests, communications teams and clients to ensure optimal conditions for interviewees to share their knowledge, experience, and insights via live-streamed channels.

Crucially, John’s involvement in post-event production of live interviews provides a second, longer-lasting view-on-demand life for that content across social channels.
